Seventh graders applying for high school this fall will now have access to talented musicians, artists, dancers, actors, and singers to help them prepare auditions to performing arts schools such as LaGuardia High School, Frank Sinatra, and more!

LaGuardia High School, the 9th specialized school, holds auditions for talented students city-wide in the fall of 8th grade. Many students choose to begin preparing for these auditions as early as spring of 7th grade. LaGuardia adjusted their admissions rubric last year to place significantly more emphasis on audition results in their admissions process. LaGuardia holds auditions in the following areas: Dance, Drama, Fine Arts, Instrumental Music, Technical Theater and Vocal Music. Students may apply to as many areas as they would like
within the school.
