Bee Tutored was founded in 2008 by Kate Prichard, a certified teacher and NYC Teaching Fellow. After recognizing first hand that teachers can only provide so much support in the classroom she sought out to provide a personalized approach for supplemental help and reinforcement in education.
Bee Tutored started as a small group of classroom teachers providing private individualized support to local students outside of the classroom. Over the past 16 years Bee Tutored has expanded, primarily through word of mouth, to serve more than 15,000 students from public and private schools across New York City, Texas, and Spain.
Bee Tutored provides individualized attention and support, whether through assistance with homework and test preparation or focusing on specific skills and disciplines.
The staff at Bee Tutored believes in taking a uniquely personalized approach with each student and family. To that end, we hand select each private tutor for your child based on his or her individual needs.
We recognize the need for flexible schedules, convenient tutoring locations and the importance of cultivating an enjoyable and rewarding learning experience.
By maintaining proactive communication between students, parents and school administrators, we ensure longterm academic success.
For our Barcelona families, academic instruction can be provided in Spanish, Catalan, or English.
She has provided stellar tutors for math and writing for me that match the individual needs of my children. She is a detail-oriented manager and also hires great people. Every time someone asks me for a recommendation, I recommend Kate and Bee Tutored. She has the talent and hires the talent to help your child succeed.

Mojgan earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at City College of New York and completed her Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry at the University of Southern California. Currently, she is a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University. I mainly work with computers. On a daily basis, I dive into the world of coding to design novel pharmaceutical compounds with therapeutic applications; for example, recently, I have been working on designing a better drug for diabetics. She also has several publications on her work. Usually, she is in her office and behind the computer coding.
Mojgan loves science! At the City College of New York, she was a tutor for freshman, sophomore, junior and senior undergraduates in math, physics, and chemistry for more than two years, and has been awarded for excellence in teaching. She was a mentor for many freshman students as well. While usually busy with school work, she enjoys playing tennis and hiking in her free time. Last year, she created her own website “in her spare time.”. As a tutor, his priority is to foster and encourage the desire and curiosity to learn, emphasizing positive reinforcement and the belief that tests are designed to measure what students do know, rather than punish them for what they have not yet fully assimilated. He also enjoys cooking, biking, and reading science fiction.
